About this event
National Poll Worker Recruitment Day is a national day of action established by the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC) in 2020 to inspire civic engagement and encourage people to sign up to become poll workers. On August 12, 2025, this national observance continues to highlight the critical need for poll workers to help administer elections and strengthen our democracy.
To support this effort, the League invites you to learn about “Why Poll Workers Matter” this August in recognition of National Poll Worker Recruitment Month. We've successfully hosted similar sessions in the past and remain committed to helping meet this growing need.
