BECOME A LEAGUE MEMBER

LWV operates at three levels: LOCAL, STATE, and NATIONAL.

The federated structure of LWV comprises a national League and affiliated state and local Leagues that are separately incorporated. The local and state Leagues work in cooperation with the national League under rules incorporated into their bylaws.

Those who join the League become members of their local League, their state League, and the national League.  When you join the League, your membership dues goes directly to the League's work to protect and defend our democracy on the issues important to sustaining it.

BUILD LEAGUE COMMUNITY

State Committees, State Project Teams, Local Leagues, and Local Community Teams offer a dynamic environment for networking and collaboration on State and Local League projects.  By joining these teams, you'll work closely with fellow members to forge impactful connections, deepen your understanding of pertinent issues, and organize initiatives aimed at educating and empowering voters. To get involved and learn more about specific opportunities, contact the state at lwvazadvocacy@gmail.com, lwvarizona@gmail.com  or your  local league via the contact details listed on our homepage.

Join AZ or Local League Committees

League committee work is dynamic, engaging, challenging, energetic, flexible, and fun!  Check the Home page for upcoming events and activities. As you get more engaged in committee work, you can step up and serve on the Board as a League leader!

SUPPORTING OUR WORK

Supporting our work is easy and does not require a major commitment of your time!  You can join us in marches and rallies or invite friends to join you at League-sponsored events. You can also promote League events through your social media!

As an all-volunteer organization, local Leagues are where a lot of work is done. Our successful operation relies on generous donations from our members and community supporters. If you don't have time to volunteer, you can support the League with a financial contribution.
