Voter Registration

Our vote is our power. Through our votes, elections make our voices heard. The League protects and empowers millions of voters every year to ensure that our elections are fair, accessible, and representative of all Americans. To vote you need to be a U.S. citizen, a resident of Arizona, and be at least 18 years of age by the election date. If convicted of a felony, you must have your civil rights restored.


Options to Register to Vote in Arizona First-Time Voters

In person
You must meet these requirements in order to register:
1. You must be a resident of Arizona and a citizen of the USA
2. You must be at least 18 years of age by the next election date
3. You must be able to write your name (unless prevented by disability)
4. You must have civil rights restored (if convicted of a felony)
In addition, you must also have a driver's license or ID card with signature on file with the Motor Vehicle Division.


Register to Vote

It only takes 2 minutes to register. You can use Vote411.org or go directly to the Arizona State Voter registration site. Once you verify your eligibility, please take a couple of minutes to register. Voting is a required function in a democracy such as ours. It is the most important right we have as Americans because it gives us the right to decide who governs us, who decides on the use of tax dollars, and the laws of our society.

Have you moved? Legal decision become laws at the state and local level that affect your everyday life! It is important that you be registered and ready to vote for every election. Check your registration at Vote411.org, at your County Elections Officials, or at Service Arizona. This is especially important if you have moved or changed addresses since the last election.
